Meraki Talent is working with a growing Insurance organisation looking to recruit a Senior HR Manager. This is a pivotal role responsible for delivering both hands-on HR support and strategic HR leadership across our UK, US, and European offices. You will partner closely with senior leaders to support the full employee lifecycle, manage complex employee relations matters, and drive the development and continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and best practices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and enjoys balancing operational HR delivery with strategic initiatives.HR Manager duties:
  • Provide end-to-end HR support across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers across the UK, USA, and Europe
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes
  • Develop, review, and continuously improve HR processes, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with UK employment law and align with global regulatory requirements
  • Support organisational change, workforce planning, and HR strategy initiatives
  • Deliver hands-on HR operational support while also contributing to strategic HR planning
  • Oversee and standardise HR processes across multiple jurisdictions
  • Use HR data and insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Person Specification
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum (Level 7 strongly preferred)
  • Experience supporting multi-country HR operations (UK, US, Europe) is advantageous
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of UK employment law
  • Significant experience managing complex employee relations issues
  • Proven experience delivering both operational and strategic HR support
  • Experience working in the insurance sector is highly desirable; candidates from financial services or other highly regulated corporate environments will also be considered
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level
  • You must able to travel to the EU offices when required.
  • Additional language would be advantageous
