Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Senior Civil Engineer (Chartered) on a Initial 6 Month Contract, based in Birmingham- with travel to UK Project Sites

This is a contract role, Outside IR35, with rates negotiable depending on experience. The position is based from the Birmingham office, with travel to UK project sites as required.

The role sits at senior technical level, acting as the civil design authority on power projects and leading civil and structural design from concept through to construction. The work is focused on substations and transmission & distribution infrastructure, supporting major UK clients including National Grid and DNOs (e.g. SSEN / SPEN).

Key details:

* Senior / Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng / ICE preferred)

* Outside IR35 contract

* Rates negotiable

* Birmingham-based with project site travel

* Strong civil & structural design experience on UK power projects

* Experience working to National Grid Technical Procedures (TP141, TP137, TP170)

* Initial 6-month contract with extension potential
