We are working on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor delivering complex marine and infrastructure projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of work in the South West, particularly in and around Bridgwater, they are now looking to appoint a Site Engineer with experience in marine civils.

Role Overview:

As Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering a large-scale marine project in Bridgwater, with a focus on piling, cofferdams, concrete structures, and tidal works. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team and contribute to one of the region's most critical marine infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and site engineering duties for marine structures

*

Supporting project delivery in line with design and health & safety requirements

*

Managing quality assurance, ITPs, and as-built records

*

Collaborating with subcontractors and the wider engineering team

*

Liaising with site management and external stakeholders

*

Ensuring environmental and safety regulations are adhered to

Requirements:

*

Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field

*

Proven experience in marine civil engineering (e.g., piling, cofferdams, concrete tidal structures)

*

Strong setting out skills (GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD)

*

Valid CSCS card (SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous)

*

Strong knowledge of HSE standards

*

Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment
