Complex Care and Support Worker

Must have a full UK drivers license and be able to work full time!

We are recruiting on behalf of Yorkshire Community Healthcare, who are a complex healthcare provider.

We are looking for experienced and dedicated Care and support workers in and around Sunderland. Commitment to the shift pattern is key.

The role involves supporting a young man and facilitating all of his care needs/ transfers. He is non verbal ( but he can very much let people know when he is happy or sad with vocalisations and facial expressions).

Thing that are important to us:

• Van driver - day time shifts would require the worker to undertake the transport to and from school.

• Someone who has experience of working in people's homes and is level headed when it comes to dealing with the unexpected.

• We are looking for someone who can work alongside the family, allowing them to join in with things and acting on what they ask you to do.

Shift Pattern:

Mon-Sun

Night shift 9.30pm - 9:30am

Short shift 2.45pm - 9:30pm
