Senior Finance Analyst Location: LondonContract: Temporary (6-month initial)   Rate: £45 per hour umbrella // £40.10 per hour PAYE inclusive // £35.78 per hour PAYE exclusive  Start Date: ASAP *Hybrid Working*   Contact: .ukJob DescriptionService Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will serve as a Business Partner for the Council’s subsidiary housing companies, delivering timely and high quality business planning and financial reporting.  Main Responsibilities

• Regular financial reporting and analysis.
• Conducting formal investment appraisals to assess the financial viability of future development opportunities.
• Providing strategic financial advice to senior management and the company boards.
• Exploring and negotiating funding for capital acquisitions from the shareholder or other stakeholders.
• Developing financial models and projections, including the 30-year business plan, to support decision-making.

CandidateCriteria

• Qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant with extensive experience
• Experienced with Housing Finance, ideally with Local Authority subsidiaries
• Experience of developing financial models and contributing to 30-year business plans
• Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
