Job Title: Food Technician - Secondary School - Lewisham
Location: Lewisham, London
Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Start Date: September 2025

Strategy Education is working with a vibrant secondary school in Lewisham that is seeking a dedicated Food Technician to support the delivery of engaging food technology lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients, tools, and equipment for practical lessons

*

Assist teachers and support students during food preparation activities

*

Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment

*

Manage stock, order supplies, and ensure equipment is in good working order

*

Comply with food safety and health & safety regulations

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

*

Experience in a food-related or school-based environment (desirable)

*

Excellent organisational and time management skills

*

A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude

*

A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

*

An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
