Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for the next stages in their educational journey.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational experience and uphold the school's standards.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school's community and ethos.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Years 3 and 4.
- Experience of mixed age teaching desirable.
- Strong understanding of the current KS2 curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven use of assessment for learning
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
