Part time Finance Officer

Hays Accountancy and Finance are working exclusively with a charity based in Stockton where there is a need for a part time Finance Officer to join the team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger and sales ledger including purchase order allocation, dealing with customer and supplier queries, processing regular payment runs to suppliers and reconciling supplier statements as well as chasing overdue customer accounts, collating timesheets, check and prepare monthly payroll and post salary journals.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked in a similar position and be able to work independently and use your own initiative and be adaptable. AAT qualified or studying towards is desirable but not essential.
