Senior PCB Inspector

Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Flexible start/finish available

A high-quality manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) Inspector to join its on-site production team. This role operates within a highly regulated environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are paramount.

You'll play a key role in ensuring assembled products meet strict quality, customer, and regulatory requirements, while also contributing to ongoing improvements across inspection and production processes.

Senior PCB Inspector Responsibilities:

Inspect assembled PCBAs for solder defects.
Verify component placement, orientation, polarity, and alignment
Inspect against IPC-A-610 standards (valid IPC-610 certification is essential)
Approve or reject assemblies at key stages
Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, schematics, and work instructionsMust-Have Experience & Skills as a Senior PCB inspector

Valid IPC-A-610 certification (essential)
Background in Medical, Automotive, or Aerospace environments
10+ years' experience in PCBA inspection
Confident working in a fast-paced, quality-driven production settingInterested?
