We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN Resource Base within a mainstream primary school in Handsworth.
About the Role:

You will lead a small group of 9 pupils with a range of ages (Reception to Year 6), though most are working at EYFS/KS1 developmental levels.
*
The children are predominantly non-verbal and have high sensory needs
*
There is no challenging behaviour
*
You'll work alongside supportive and experienced TAs in the class.
Ideal Candidate:
*
Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in SEN, especially Autism.
*
A nurturing, patient and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
*
Skilled at adapting lessons for pupils with complex learning needs.
*
Passionate about inclusive education and creating an engaging, safe space for children to thrive.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
