We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our client based in Milton Keynes

Hours of work: 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm Friday

This is a key role for the business where you will be the focal point for Quality Control and Quality Assurance.

You will have a small number of direct reports and will also have responsibility for hiring and training new employees as well as appraisals and other employee related matters.

Key responsibilities overview:

* Company contact for external auditing

* Contract reviews

* ISO9001; AS9100 and NADCAP approvals as well as responsibilities in accordance with these standards

* Recording and reporting data as well as analysing, including information regarding quality, reliability and expectancy of the finished product

* Working in partnership with production and other departments

* Working with suppliers to ensure the quality of their product including testing

* Designing and controlling training programs

* Investigating any complaints

* Some travel involved to meet with suppliers and customers.

Our client is looking for the following skills and experience:

* Consistent background within Quality Management

* A bachelor's degree or a relevant qualification in combination with experience

* Thorough knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100

* Good knowledge of NADCAP and preferably an understanding of ISO13485

* Ideally a member of Institute of Assurance

* Ability to interpret a large variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram, along with abstract and concrete variables

* Internal/external Auditing

* Knowledge of tools such as Contract Review, ERP, MRP, Work Orders and Work To Lists

* Produce documents such as FAIRS, PPAPS and Quality Plans

* Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
