Job Title: Accounts Assistant (SAP ECC)
Location: Hybrid (Milton Keynes office and home-based)
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in accounts payable, banking, and finance operations, especially within a SAP ECC environment. The role offers hybrid working, with regular attendance at the Milton Keynes office.
Key Responsibilities
Expenses Management
- Check, process, and post employee expenses in SAP
- Manage corporate credit card statements, ensuring appropriate checks, approvals, and timely payments
Supplier Invoices
- Process supplier invoices paid via Direct Debit
- Obtain necessary approvals and post invoices in SAP
- Prepare weekly employee expense payment runs in line with finance deadlines
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries
- Conduct sanction screening for new customers and suppliers
Banking and Cash Book
- Retrieve and post daily EUR & USD bank statements from NatWest online banking into SAP
- Reconcile EUR and USD bank accounts weekly and monthly
- Set up and manage Direct Debit payments
Accounting and Finance Support
- Provide backup to the Credit Controller, including sending customer statements and invoices
- Support the month-end close process
- Assist with the annual financial audit
- Provide ad-hoc financial data using SAP and Protean
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using online banking systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
