What you'll be doing; - Handling a high volume of customer contacts across telephone, email, live chat, social media and face-to-face, supporting approximately 240,000 domestic properties across Sheffield
- Processing customer requests, complaints and enquiries accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are logged in line with contractual obligations and SLAs
- Resolving customer complaints at the first point of contact, carrying out callbacks and keeping customers informed of resolution timescales
- Liaising with internal teams such as Operations and Systems Support to ensure work is completed and databases are updated accordingly
- Processing payments, HWRC permit applications, assisted collection requests and Variation Order paperwork
- Contributing to customer satisfaction monitoring and supporting the retention of the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) Accreditation
What we're looking for;- A minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above
- Previous call centre or customer service experience, with the ability to meet call handling targets and work to challenging deadlines
- Strong IT skills including experience with email and Microsoft Office programmes
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, friendly and calm approach - particularly when handling difficult or complex situations
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask, prioritise your workload and work on your own initiative
- A team player with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- A Customer Services NVQ Level 2 and experience in a similar industry would be a bonus
