PRACTICE ACCOUNTANT - BOURNEMOUTH/POOLE/HYBRID OPTIONS - £40K TO £50K STARTING SALARY - QUALIFIED/PART QUALIFIED - PRACTICE EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

We are assisting a dynamic and client-focused accountancy practice committed to providing exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of clients. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our team.

We are looking for an accountant with at least three years' experience working in practice, who is part or fully qualified (ideally ACCA/ACA). The successful candidate will be confident in client-facing roles, with the ability to provide proactive advice and build strong working relationships. Responsibilities will include:

* Preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns, and management accounts

* Liaising directly with clients, providing clear and timely communication

* Advising clients on tax matters, including personal and corporate tax

* Utilising Xero and other accounting software to manage client portfolios

* Supporting junior team members where necessary

* Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations

This is a very friendly and supportive business who have long-serving team members. This role is a new position in the business due to ongoing growth. They are looking for someone who has:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice

* Part or fully qualified (ACCA/ACA or equivalent)

* Strong working knowledge of Xero

* Solid practical knowledge of UK tax legislation

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Client-focused with a proactive and professional approach
