St Cuthbert’s RC High School, part of the St Teresa's Of Calcutta Academy Trust (STOCCAT), is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join their vibrant and ambitious team on a full-time temporary contract until July 2026. The role is an open vacancy and so the successful candidate will be eligible to apply for the permanent role.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and reflective practitioner to play a key role in delivering high-quality Religious Education within a Catholic school community. The successful candidate will:
Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and implement a broad and ambitious RE curriculum in line with diocesan and national guidance
Support the Catholic ethos and spiritual life of the school
Monitor and support student progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and the Trust

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Religious Education
