Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with our client based in Hull, as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their growing and supportive finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-focused individual to play a key role in managing financial processes and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations within a busy and well-established business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales invoices and applications process accurately and efficiently
- Oversee credit control activities to ensure timely collection of payments
- Maintain and update the company’s cashflow, providing accurate forecasting and visibility
- Support month-end reconciliations and conduct regular debtors reviews
- Prepare and forecast payments in line with business requirements
- Assist with key account preparation tasks as required
- Ensure all costs are entered accurately and align with the company’s costing structure
- Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance team as needed
Person Specification:
- Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Sales Ledger, or Credit Control role
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
