Health & Safety Officer - West Region (based in Newbury)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + car allowance,bonus,package

Region Covered: Oxfordshire, M3 Corridor, Southampton, Plymouth

This role involves working as a boots-on-the-ground H&S lead for the West, reporting directly to the Group H&S Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a social housing or planned maintenance background, ideally with experience supporting operational teams in a field-based environment.

Key responsibilities include site audits, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and operative engagement, with a strong focus on upskilling our in-house operatives and promoting a proactive safety culture. The candidate should be comfortable covering a large region and travelling as required.

Must have had experience in writing RAMS and systems
