Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Secondary School | Tower Hamlets | Full-Time

We are a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the heart of Tower Hamlets, and we are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to play a key role in supporting students and staff across the curriculum.

The Role:

Deliver planned learning activities to small groups and individuals, under the guidance of teaching staff

Provide targeted academic and pastoral support to students, including those with SEND or additional needs

Cover lessons across key stages when required, ensuring continuity of learning

Support the planning and assessment process in collaboration with teachers

Act as a role model and mentor, promoting positive attitudes and behaviour for learning

What We're Looking For:

HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience

Proven experience working in a secondary school setting

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

A flexible, proactive, and professional attitude

A commitment to inclusion and supporting young people from diverse backgrounds
