Support Worker
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Precedo Healthcare are seeking experienced support workers to work within a supported living residential unit which provides high-quality 24-hour supported living services to adults aged 18+ with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and associated conditions. We are passionate about enabling people to live as independently as possible, helping them to lead fulfilling lives within their local community.
We will be supporting the service to promote a person-centred and recovery-focused goal, the service promotes flexible support tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Whether it’s developing life skills, managing a tenancy, or accessing training and employment, we are here every step of the way.
Who We Support:
Our support worker will supporting adults who may need support due to:
Learning disabilities
Autism and associated conditions
Mental health conditions or dementia
Physical or sensory disabilities
Drug or alcohol issues
Acquired brain injuries
Frailty due to age
Certain physical illnesses
About the Role:
As an experienced Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting people with complex needs to live independently and achieve their goals. You’ll work as part of a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate established team to deliver personalised care and support.
Duties may include but not limited to:
Support individuals to build everyday living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
Assist with personal care and medication management
Support people in maintaining tenancies and understanding tenancy agreements
Promote community involvement, helping individuals to access services and build relationships
Develop independent travel and budgeting skills
Encourage and enable choice, decision-making, and independence
Assist in accessing education, training, employment, and leisure activities
Help people apply for and manage benefits
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working as a support worker in a similar care/support setting
A person-centred, empathetic, and respectful approach
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins if required
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential
A full UK driving licence is a plus but not essential
