About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installation works on a food distribution centre project in Wrexham. This is a cradle-to-grave role, with responsibility for managing all on-site electrical activities over the 10-month programme.

Our client is a well-established, fast-paced M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of work, predominantly in the North-West region. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on management style, excellent technical knowledge, and experience delivering large-scale commercial or industrial electrical packages.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site activities relating to the electrical installation.

*

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

*

Ensure works are delivered to time, budget, and quality standards.

*

Monitor health & safety compliance and enforce company policies on-site.

*

Lead toolbox talks, site inductions, and method statement reviews.

*

Oversee material deliveries, stock control, and site logistics.

*

Liaise with the client, consultants, and other trades.

*

Carry out quality inspections and testing sign-offs where required.

*

Report progress and issues to senior management.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on commercial or industrial building services projects.

*

Strong understanding of electrical systems, regulations, and installations.

*

SMSTS or SSSTS qualified.

*

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.

*

ECS or CSCS Card.

*

Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

*

Experience working for an M&E contractor (preferred).

*

Able to manage programmes, RAMS, and site documentation.

Desirable

*

Experience working on large-scale projects in a commercial/industrial setting.

*

Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, etc.).
