About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Support Manager to join our team in South Tyneside. You'll be responsible for leading and managing a supported living service, ensuring that the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader with hands-on experience managing a home who is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations within the home to ensure a safe, caring, and person-centred environment.

  • Provide clear leadership, guidance, and supervision to support staff.

  • Manage staff rotas, budgets, and service delivery to meet regulatory and organisational standards.

  • Maintain compliance with CQC and all relevant policies and procedures.

  • Build strong relationships with staff, service users, families, and external professionals.

  • Participate in an on-call rota, providing additional support outside of core hours.

What We're Looking For
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent management qualification) - essential.

  • Proven experience managing a home or supported living service - essential.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.

  • A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
