Deputy Residential Childcare Manager
Are you an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in young people's lives? We have a role available in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, with a fantastic client that has a supportive "home from home" environment!
They provide safe, stimulating care and aspirational educational opportunities for young people aged 11-18 with complex speech, language, and communication difficulties, including autism. Their young people may also have additional learning difficulties and display associated challenging behaviours.
As a Deputy Residential Childcare Manager, you'll play a crucial role in assisting the Registered Manager with the management, coordination, and development of quality services for our young people. You'll also have fantastic opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities, from theatre and cinema visits to sporting activities and country walks.

- Competitive Salary: Starting from £29,223.48 per year, with an average annual salary of £31,303.48 (inclusive of one sleep-in per week at £40 each).

We're Looking For:
- At least 3 years' experience within a similar residential childcare setting.
- A strong working knowledge of autism.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- A valid driving licence (essential).
- A commitment to promoting the safeguarding and wellbeing of young people.
- A willingness to participate fully in all activities with our young people.
