A respected and growing law firm on the South Coast is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ-5 years PQE) to join its successful property team, with offices in both Worthing and Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied caseload of quality commercial property work within a team known for its technical expertise and outstanding client service.
The Opportunity
This full-time role offers the chance to work with a Legal 500-recognised team in a modern, progressive and supportive firm. The successful candidate will play a key role in a collaborative department and have real opportunity for growth and development.
The Role
You'll handle a range of commercial property matters, including:
* Sales and acquisitions of commercial premises and land
* Lease drafting and negotiation (acting for both landlords and tenants)
* Development transactions and associated planning issues
* Property-related elements of business and corporate transactions
* Refinancing and secured lending matters
You'll enjoy early client exposure and the chance to build strong, lasting relationships with a wide range of businesses, developers, and individuals.
The Ideal Candidate
* A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with NQ-5 years' PQE in commercial property
* Capable of managing a busy caseload with accuracy and efficiency
* Strong organisational and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
* Comfortable dealing with clients, stakeholders and external bodies in a confident and courteous manner
* Able to absorb and act on detailed instructions
* Familiar with SRA regulatory requirements, including SRA Accounts Rules and OFR
* IT proficient and confident working in a modern legal environment
* Team-oriented with a self-motivated, proactive mindset
