Finance Assistant - Shipley - Study support - £27,000 to £32,000

A brilliant opportunity for a talented Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing and innovative service company based in Shipley. 

This role offers the opportunity for you to gain valuable analytical and reporting experience whilst working as part of a dynamic and high performing finance team.

Working alongside a supportive and engaging finance leader, the role will be varied and fast paced. Here is a little bit about what you will be involved with:

The Job:

Full responsibility and maintenance of the purchase ledger processing a small number of monthly invoices

Bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing monthly underwriting
Regular reporting and month-end accounts including variance analysis and journal postings
Accruals & prepayments
Cash flow analysis, reviewing and keeping management abreast of cash movement (Desirable)
Overseeing of fixed asset register
Ad hoc reporting on Excel
Analysis of revenue and costs 

The successful candidate will be:

Analytical 
Relevant experience within a finance role
Driven and motivated
Bright and personable with good communication skills
Ideally have experience of multiple entities
Strong communication skills - able to build relationships and work collaboratively
Organised and able to work accurately
