Job Title: Gas Engineer (Contract - 6 Months)

About the Role
We are currently looking for a qualified Gas Engineer to support a busy local contractor with Landlord Gas Safety Checks across residential properties in the Grimsby area.

The successful engineer will be responsible for completing approximately 8 Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12) per day across a portfolio of managed properties. This is a 6-month contract with consistent work available throughout the duration.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12) in residential properties

Inspect and test gas appliances, pipework, and flues

*

Identify and report any safety issues or remedial work required

*

Complete certification and documentation accurately

*

Provide professional service when dealing with tenants and property managers

Requirements

Must hold valid Gas Safe registration

*

Relevant gas qualifications (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT or equivalent)

Experience completing Landlord Gas Safety Certificates

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Own van and tools preferred

*

Ability to complete up to 8 checks per day
