We're looking for an outgoing, strategic sales professional to create an outbound sales program, then recruit and lead our outbound selling group. The Outgoing Sales Director will help define sales strategy for both our current and future product lines.
You will both use proven strategies that work with our inbound sales team while also creating new ones specifically for outbound.
The right candidate for this role will have demonstrated previous success in the development of sales strategies and teams. The right candidate should have established networks that will continue our expansion. We expect the right candidate to be able to create a strategy for each category of products/services, validate that strategy and prove its effectiveness, and then scale a team to implement the sales strategy.
This position will require good time management, great communication, strong organizational skills, the ability to forecast and set appropriate goals for your team, and the ability to recruit and build a team.
Create maximum profitability and sales growth in line with the company vision and values
Perform market research, assess opportunities, and provide value proposition explanations to different classes of clients
Develop an outbound sales strategy that will identify, qualify, quantify, and then engage with pertinent and appropriate businesses and consumers, based on product line
Develop, implement, and validate this outbound sales plans
Recruit, manage and lead a new team of sales professionals responsible for the acquisition of new business via an outbound sales approach
Guide and develop your team, forecasts and budgets
Set clear and measurable goals for sales leaders and their teams
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge
Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching to prepare individuals to meet personal and company goals
Provide timely feedback to CEO and COO regarding success of program and overall program performance.
Assist inbound sales team in developing a referral and follow up program
Entrepreneurial attitude and work ethic
High School graduate or higher
A verifiable track record of sales spanning at least seven years that shows competency in meeting sales goals, negotiations, selling to customer needs
A verifiable track record of sales management in a managerial, director, or strategic sales role (including building teams, managing processes, coaching and training)
Excellent Typing skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Google Docs, Excel, and Gmail platforms
Ability to handle conflict in a calm and professional manner
Clear understanding of analyzing sales metrics
Experience with internet and telephone-based sales
Experience managing sales professionals
Proven success of maximizing profitability and meeting goals
Proven ability to work well with others internally and externally
