Salary: £37,600 - £41,250 per annum, OTE

You’ll join a passionate and stable team, working alongside a skilled Registered Manager and supported by a hands-on Director with over 20 years’ experience delivering exceptional residential care in both the local authority and private sectors.

We currently operate four Ofsted-rated 'Good' homes across Stockport and Tameside - with another four new homes opening in the next 12 months. This is a fantastic time to join our growing service and shape your future in leadership.

?? About the Role:

As Deputy Manager, you’ll take on a key leadership role in the daily running of the home. You’ll be hands-on, child-focused and confident supporting a team to deliver consistent, trauma-informed care. You’ll also play a key role in developing staff, advocating for children, and ensuring our records and systems are kept to the highest standard.

?? What We’re Looking For:
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential

  • Excellent written communication skills - report writing and care planning

  • Strong advocacy skills - you’ll speak up for our children and champion their needs

  • Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail

  • Confident and efficient using computers - essential for daily tasks and records

  • Proven experience in a residential childcare setting

  • Ambition to progress and develop as a leader
