Accounts Receivable Executive 

Salary: £16.00–£17.00 per hourJob Type: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Office-based in Poole (37–40 hours per week)

This is a hands-on, operational Accounts Receivable role where you’ll manage the sales ledger, invoicing, and cash collection processes. You’ll help maintain strong cash flow, support customers with account queries, and collaborate closely with internal teams.As the business continues to evolve, you’ll also contribute to improvements across finance processes, controls, and systems—making this a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within a modern and scaling finance function. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:

• Invoice Management – Generating and issuing accurate invoices in line with policy and agreed terms.
• Accounts Reconciliation – Ensuring all customer payments are posted and allocated correctly.
• Customer Communication – Managing invoice queries and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Aging Reports – Producing AR aging reports and outlining required actions.
• Bank Reconciliation & Reporting – Completing daily and monthly bank recs and supporting month-end tasks.
• Finance Inbox Management – Managing multi-entity finance inboxes and responding to queries.
• Ad Hoc Finance Support – Supporting AP, credit card/expense reconciliations, and general finance duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable role
• Strong understanding of invoicing, debt collection, and cash allocation
• Confident communicator with strong problem-solving ability
• Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple deadlines
• Proficient in Excel, Xero, and online banking systems
