On behalf of a small private provider of Nursing and Residential Care Homes I am currently looking for an excellent Deputy Nursing Home Manager (RGN/RMN) to work alongside the Registered Manager at their lovely home in the area.
This opportunity would be the ideal for an ambitious Senior Nurse or existing Deputy Home Manager or strong Clinical Lead to take the next step in their career to Deputy Nursing Home Manager.

The successful Deputy Nursing Home Manager (RGN/RMN) will support the Home Manager in the smooth running of this highly regarded Nursing Home. The home itself is very a very successful smaller than average nursing home which has an excellent reputation locally. Within this role, you will also be exposed to a range of excellent career development opportunities and continuous training.

Ideally you will have experience of managing staff teams, strong clinical skills and experience of working with the elderly within a nursing home or similar setting.

The Deputy Nursing Home Manager (RGN/RMN) will report into the Registered Home Manager and you will be expected to deliver operational and commercial success in collaboration with the Senior Management team.

The successful Deputy Nursing Home Manager will play an integral role within this brilliant Nursing Home. You will be a natural leader, nurse qualified with a genuine passion for Elderly Nursing Care. Your shift pattern will consist of partly on the floor leading the team and part supernumerary shifts, there will also be additional shifts available if you would like to work overtime!

Essential Qualifications and Experience of the Deputy Nursing Home Manager (RGN/RMN):

• Nurse qualification - RGN or RMN with an active PIN.

• Experience managing staff teams.

• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.

• Experience of writing care plans, carrying out audits, and experience of recruitment.

• Strong clinical skills.

• The availability to work flexible shifts.
