A market-leading FMCG organisation is seeking an ambitious Manufacturing Manager to take charge of its Stoke-on-Trent site and lead the manufacturing function through its next phase of growth. This is a high-profile leadership role, responsible for over 100 production staff managed via two direct reports, where safety, efficiency and performance are at the heart of everything.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

They will also hold direct responsibility for the manufacturing budget, combining financial control with a focus on value creation and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience in food manufacturing or another fast-paced, highly regulated environment. They will be commercially astute, results-driven and resilient, with the ability to influence at all levels. A strong track record in driving improvements, leading change and managing CAPEX projects is essential, alongside exceptional people leadership skills and the ability to build capability across large teams. A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or a related discipline would be an advantage.

As well as a competitive salary, benefits include: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme up to 10%, annual bonus and electric car scheme

This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented leader to make a real impact in a high-performing FMCG business — shaping operations at scale, driving performance, and helping to define the future success of the Stoke-on-Trent site
