The Governing Body of St Illtyd’s Catholic High School is seeking to appoint an exceptional, faith‑filled, and inspirational Catholic Headteacher who will lead our community with integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

We seek a Headteacher who:

  • Is a practising Catholic with a strong personal faith and a clear understanding of the distinctive nature of Catholic education
  • Leads with moral purpose, humility, and strategic vision
  • Will work collaboratively with our Senior Leadership Team, passionate staff, and highly committed Governing Body Will deepen partnerships with parents, parishes, local Catholic primary schools, and the wider community
  • Will champion an inclusive, ambitious curriculum that supports the needs and aspirations of every learner
  • Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
