The salary is £30,500, with call out allowance, which is paid annually at £13,040 annually, and call out is 1-4. so the salary with call allowance would be £43,540.

As the Building Services Supervisor you  will manage electrical services and other building services on site, including  Agricultural Trust, to a high standard, to ensure electrical equipment is maintained to a high standard to reduce failure, ensure contractors working on site adhere to health and safety and have good conduct.

The role requires an experienced electrical supervisor who understands complex electrical systems, distribution systems, (ACB , MCCB, MCB, RCD, RCBO ETC), generators -controls ups and BMS work knowledge. The role will require excellent fault finding skills and working knowledge of HV and 18TH Edition IET qualification.

The Supervisor will be responsible for a team of engineers, and ensure the team carry out planned preventative Maintenance (ppm) to a high standard, working to SFG20. The supervisor will manage reactive tasks carried out by team and keep reactive calls to level achieving SLA/KPIs. The post holder will supervise contractors working on site whilst carrying out there works, writing permits for contractor and ensuring work carried out safely, and be empowered to stop works if they deem unsafe. The role will require the individual to have in-depth commercial building services knowledge, be a good communicator, possess good planning skill, and health and safety knowledge. The role holder is expected to carry out the duties listed below, and any other duties reasonably required by the line manager or institute, commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this postThe role holder will be required to participate on the engineer on-call rota, remunerated with allowance appropriate to rota at the time.

OPERATIONAL SERVICE DELIVERY 75% Ensure Smooth and efficient running of electrical system providing minimum down time.
• Ensure the Electrical team PPM are completed to required SLA /KPI and provide weekly feedback to line manager and support staff.Ensure reactive works are completed to required SLA/KPI and provide weekly feedback to line manager and support staff.Completing electrical reactive works in required SLA /KPI’S providing weekly feedback to support staff and line managerEnsure compliance is met for CDM/ procurement, as per appropriate procedure.Assist with future project planning, including all on-site stakeholders.Participate in call out rota.Write and supervise Permit to work for high danger works, following processSupervise Health and Safety Compliance for team and sub-contractors.Supervise contractor/ Surveyors and other on-site contacts to ensure projects/ works run smoothly, reviewing certificates/ RAMSReview RAMS for Project, reactive and PPM works.Advise line manager where equipment is reaching 'end of life' or requires attention.Carry out emergency tasks, working safely and have an in-depth knowledge of electrical systems keeping down time to a minimum.
