Quality Process Engineer

Location: Stourbridge
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about product quality and continuous improvement? Our client is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Quality Process Engineer to join their team and play a key role in enhancing product quality and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on quality data to spot trends and drive improvements

Leading root cause analysis (RCA) teams to resolve product quality concerns using tools like 5 Whys, 8D, and corrective action tracking

Keeping internal and external stakeholders informed about quality issues and rejections

Supporting the implementation of process controls across production

Recording and managing internal and external rejects, scrap reviews, and customer returns

Creating and maintaining quality documentation including SOPs, quality alerts, and reports

Performing physical measurements using tools such as verniers and height gauges

Auditing processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a quality or process engineering role within manufacturing

Familiarity with quality tools and methods such as RCA, 5 Whys, 8D, etc.

Confident in using inspection equipment and interpreting technical data

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement attitude

Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
