Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a driven Sales Development Executive to join our team in Manchester. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per annum with on target earnings of up to £32,000 plus benefits.

You will be one of 8 BDE's/SDE's working within the BFS Direct lead generation function, working in a highly collaborative way with Sales and Marketing. The role of a Sales Development Executive is to utilise cold calling, email and social selling techniques to generate new sales opportunities, primarily within the Invoice Financing product set.

Your key duties as our Sales Development Executive will include:

  • Through proactive outreach via multi-channels, building excellent relationships with all prospective clients, generating leads and ultimately new business
  • Maintaining a high level of professional conduct with internal and external customers via telephone, email, social etc
  • Delivering targets of newly qualified leads and deal conversion by building and maintaining a level of qualified new enquiries, whilst developing effective handover processes to field sales for conversion
  • Achieving sales team targets of new deals and income; nurture outstanding enquiries
  • Developing knowledge and understanding of the invoice finance&asset-based finance industry including BFS products&services, clients, competitors&introducers
  • Building and maintaining new and existing relationships with Business Development Managers and Bibby Financial Services employees
  • Promoting and representing the BFS brand and services; be an ambassador for BFS Direct
  • Consistent and accurately recording information in our internal CRM systems, to assist the team Administrator in the production and completion of weekly and monthly sales analysis and reports

What we are looking for in our ideal Sales Development Executive:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Lead Generation (SDR, BDR etc) or Full-cycle sales position with an outbound/cold approach
  • A proficient user of data and multi-channel approaches to generate leads
  • A track record of success in meeting targets
  • Experience in working with cold/profile data
  • An aptitude for understanding Technology and Software products
  • B2B experience
  • LinkedIn - social selling experience
  • A proactive self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills; resourcefulness and resilience
  • Interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate with various styles of recipients
