Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive growth and expand our client base within the structural steel sector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong network in construction and fabrication, a deep understanding of steel structures, and a passion for building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the structural steel and construction sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and engineers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the estimating and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline using CRM tools.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in business development or sales within the structural steel or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and project lifecycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and closing opportunities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Experience with structural steel industry – or at least a strong grasp of construction and key contacts within the industry
