The Role

As a Critical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of critical building systems. The position will involve delivering both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and electrical plant.

Working as part of a dedicated on-site engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining high operational standards across this high-profile site.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the site maintenance schedule

Respond to reactive maintenance requests and resolve faults efficiently

*

Maintain and service mechanical and electrical building services equipment

*

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations

Complete accurate maintenance records and reports

*

Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and site teams

Requirements

*

Experience working in a critical environment, commercial building, or similar maintenance setting

*

Strong understanding of building services plant and equipment

*

Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering

*

Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work effectively within a shift-based engineering team
