Administration Assistant - Special School

Hours per week: 0800 - 1600, Monday - Friday. Term time only

Location: Streatham

Salary: £24,960

Reports to: Assistant Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team Members

About You:

To work under the direct instruction of the Assistant Headteacher (Streatham), to support a wide range of aspects of the administration and day-to-day running of the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of working in an administrative position - preferably in a school environment
• Use technology - computer, video, scanner and photocopier
• Ability to relate well to children and adults

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Undertake all duties and responsibilities in accordance with: company policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, standards; good professional practice, Ofsted and other regulatory requirements, relevant legislations, all legal and contractual obligations.
• To review and amend pupil documents and other related paperwork as directed by the Head of School
• To provide effective organisation skills to support the management team
• To assist in the day-to-day admin support of running of the school such as; answering/ responding to emails, welcoming visitors, arranging transportation for PE activities, coordinating PE activities
• Complete purchase requests and orders
• Petty Cash management
