Part-Time PSHE Teacher (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and engaging PSHE Teacher/Cover Supervisor to join our secondary school in Eastbourne, part of Swale Academies Trust.

We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience delivering PSHE or a related subject who is committed to supporting students’ personal development, wellbeing, and life skills. This role is ideal for a teacher looking for a better work-life balance, as all planning and preparation are provided.

As a PSHE Teacher, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore important personal, social, and health topics.

Key Responsibilities Deliver PSHE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using pre-prepared materials

Create a positive and respectful classroom environment

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support students’ personal development, wellbeing, and understanding of key life skills

Provide feedback on student engagement and progress

Contribute to the wider life of the school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience teaching PSHE or a related subject in a secondary school setting

Strong behaviour management skills

Confidence delivering structured lessons with provided resources

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive and flexible approach

A genuine commitment to supporting young people’s wellbeing and personal growth
