Graduate Planner
Location: Kent

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-respected housebuilder in their search for a Graduate Planner to join their in-house planning team based in Kent.

Our client, a dynamic and growing residential developer, is committed to delivering high-quality homes across the South East. Known for their design-led approach and strong regional presence, they are looking to invest in the next generation of planning professionals who can grow with the business and make a real impact.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Planner to work client-side within a supportive and fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience in planning strategy, site promotion, planning applications, and stakeholder engagement - all with the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications

Undertake planning research and site appraisals

Support the team in preparing planning strategies and development proposals

Liaise with local authorities and external consultants

Contribute to the promotion of strategic land sites through the Local Plan process

Requirements:

RTPI-accredited degree or master's in Planning or a related field

Strong understanding of the UK planning system

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

A full UK driving licence is desirable
