This is an opportunity for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to step into a senior role within a respected, multi-disciplinary property consultancy known for delivering impactful developments across both public and private sectors.You’ll be based in a modern, open-plan office on the outskirts of Exeter—complete with excellent M5 access—and benefit from a genuinely flexible working culture that supports home working and adaptable hours.What You’ll Do
• Provide expert technical and commercial advice across building surveying and maintenance
• Lead on technical due diligence for commercial and residential properties
• Prepare specifications, drawings and risk assessments for new build and refurbishment schemes
• Undertake condition surveys, dilapidations, measured surveys and defect analysis
• Oversee quality assurance, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and confidenceWhat You’ll Bring
• Chartered RICS status (or equivalent), or commitment to achieving it
• Extensive experience in building surveying across varied project types
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation
• Ability to work autonomously or within a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills
