Pin Point Health and Social Care is one of the fastest growing healthcare recruiters in the UK and we are currently looking to add an exceptional Senior Recruitment Consultant to our team based in Gateshead.

The new Senior Recruitment Consultant will cover areas within the North East and will be required to help grow the branch.


- To supply support staff on a temporary and permanent basis to clients across the North East
- To develop and grow the desk making continuous placements of your candidates both temporary and permanent.
- To network your clients and candidates to increase revenue and growth within the business
- To provide important mentorship with your colleagues within the branch.
- To provide support to the Branch Manager on the day to day running of the branch and the growth within.


- Make pre-determined targeted, speculative calls and client visits to acquire new business and maintain existing business.
- Achieve appropriate terms of business and margin rates through effective negotiation and in line with approved gross margin percentages.

- Provide candidates and clients with information, advice and support.

- Match candidates and client needs to achieve successful placements and ensure all parties are kept informed of progress.

- Monitor candidates once the placement has commenced and collect feedback from clients on performance.

- Ensure vacancies are advertised in line with company policy and are advised to all suitable candidates.

- Ensure compliance with legislation in respect of confidentiality and record keeping.

- Contribute positively to team performance goals and maintain personal statistics for review.

- Identify, interview and register candidates and complete all necessary checks and documentation to comply with standard regulatory procedures.

- Organise Company publicity through mailshots, merchandising, telephone calls, personal visits and attendance at recruitment fairs and other events.

- Participate in the `on call` rota and, as part of this service, give support and information to service users and care staff at times when the main office is not manned.

- To assist the Branch Manager with the day to day running of the branch, whilst supporting your colleagues to achieve their targets set by the Branch Manager.
- To step up to Branch Manager level when the BM is out of office.

- To be a go to for all other consultants and Senior Management as and when required.

The following attainments and personal attributes are considered essential to the post of Senior Recruitment Consultant:

- Self-motivated, responsible and able to act on your initiative

- Have recruitment experience preferably in health care recruitment

- Be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills

- Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

- Be prepared to undertake other training that would benefit you in the role

- Be able to self-organise your day to ensure you get the most out of it

- Be able to provide management level support to junior colleague
- Be able to lead the team you work with whilst maintain the growth of your own desk

- Have team leading or senior recruitment experience
- Be determined to lead from the front and show other consultants the way to progress

The following are desirable:

- Experience in the Health and Social Care industry
- Full Driving Licence
