This is a foundational position for coating department maintenance. Focus on preventative maintenance of coating department. This position both ensures dedicated attention to required and routine maintenance and introductory support to other coating department equipment issues as needed. This role allows for a level of involvement that will provide the necessary experience to grow more familiar with our specific equipment as well our industry.
Work Environment includes: The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/loud. The employee will frequently need to be able to lift up to 50lbs during routine work. Clean room protocols and PPE will be necessary to work in this position. AA degree/technical school training or previous work experience with electrical/mechanical equipment minimum 3 years. Hands on experience with coating chambers, IBS, Sputtering, IAD, eBeam, Plasma CVD preferred.
1. Experience with hand tools and mechanical components.
2. Basic understanding of purpose for voltmeter and basic electrical knowledge.
3. Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently or working with others.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
5. Experience with networked PC based computer system (MS Outlook and Windows/Internet Explorer)
