Electrician - £44,000 + On-Call + Overtime | Hampshire | Full-Time

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing Facilities Management provider delivering high-quality electrical services across schools and commercial buildings in the South.

If you enjoy a mix of PPM, reactive work, fault finding and installations - and want a role where no two days are the same - this is the perfect next step.

£44,000 basic salary

£175 weekly on-call allowance (1 in 4 rota)

Overtime available:

1.5x after 6pm (Mon-Fri)

1.5x Saturday mornings

Double time Saturday afternoons & Sundays

The Role

You'll work across multiple commercial sites - mainly schools and public buildings - carrying out a mix of:

Reactive electrical maintenance & fault finding

PPM including 3-hour emergency lighting tests

Electrical installations and upgrades

Producing EICRs (including large school estates)

LED lighting installs (internal/external)

PAT testing

Electrical works supporting refurb projects

Updating job reports via mobile device

Occasional early starts (6-7am depending on site)

Participating in a 1-in-4 on-call rota

You'll represent the company on-site and deliver high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

What We are Looking For

18th Edition - Essential

NVQ Level 3 (2357 or equivalent) - Essential

Strong experience in remedials, fault finding & repairs

Confident completing EICRs

Experience in schools + Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)

Full UK Driving Licence

IT-competent & good communication skills

Flexible, reliable, and professional

At least 2+ years' experience in a similar role

Controls knowledge is beneficial but not essential.

Location

Mobile role covering Hampshire and surrounding areas.
