Thera South West has an exciting opportunity available for a Support Worker to join our team based in Trowbridge.You will join us on a permanent basis, with full-time and part-time hours available. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of  £26,436.00 plus a potential of up to £4,600  in sleep in allowance ( based on 2 sleep ins a week )

Additional Information: Full driving license is essential Sleepiness required

About the Support Worker role:

As a valued Support Worker with Thera Southwest, you will be part of an inclusive, passionate team supporting three young adults with a learning disability in a shared supported living setting. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities including shopping, going out for lunch, cinema trips, sports, attending social clubs. Shift patterns vary from 10:00 am – 22:00 hours followed by a sleep-in finishing at 10:00 hours the next day. Additional shifts 12:00-16:00 hours ( allocated as per individual needs shifts include weekends and bank holidays.  Experience with learning disabilities and mental health is an advantage but not essential. A sense of humor is essential! Be prepared to get stuck in with fun and games – including the occasional round of army warfare around the house!

You will be working alongside other staff where there is a real sense of teamwork, supporting people in their daily lives at home or getting out in the community with people. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role.
