We are in need of a Quality Assurance tester. The location could be either Texas, California or Georgia. Initially it would start remote. Keys are Testing of User experience Manual Automation testing Custom scripting Selenium Our client needs a Quality Engineer III to join their team who will be responsible for ensuring that their iOS, Android and web users have the very best experience. You will have a impact on the quality of client growing suite of products and services by acting as a champion of quality engineering, testing activities throughout the SDLC. You will leverage your knowledge of manual and automated testing to influence better software design, promote best practices, bug prevention strategies, testability, and other advanced quality concepts across products. Responsibilities will include Design, develop, and execute Test Plans and test cases for client facing consumer software Perform hands on testing of mobile andor web applications Identify issuesbugs and report to developers and product owners the results of testing Verify fixes and new features in software Collaborate with other QE engineers on major initiatives and feature testing Attend design and product update meetings representing Quality Engineering team Skills Tester's Mindset - Strong testing acumen as well as the technical know including considering automation opportunities where possible Understanding of test and reporting tools such as Charles proxy, Jenkins, TestRail and JIRA Experience with continuous integration and software test automation tools and frameworks Experience with BDD and writing Cucumber based test cases a plus Bachelorrsquos degree or equivalent, relevant experience Minimum 3+ years hands on professional manual andor automated software testing experience Requirements and General Skills Strong organizational and project management skills Proven ability to see a project from start to finish, and beyond Good public speaking and presentation skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff and external partners at all levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to pay attention to details and be organized Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Commitment to both internal and external client quality and customer service principles
