Senior IT Managed Services Sales Lead

Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 2-3 days office-based)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Basic + Double OTE + Car Allowance

The Opportunity

With over 2,700 existing customers, this company has evolved from a traditional Telco reseller into a modern provider of IT Managed Services, Cyber Security, and SME-focused technology solutions. Their IT division is currently a £5m turnover business, with a clear strategy to grow this to £20m over the next 36-48 months.

This role offers the chance to step into a business with an established customer base, huge untapped potential, and the backing to build something significant.

The Role

As a Senior IT Managed Services Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through two key routes:

1. Selling Managed Services & Cyber Security into Existing Customers

* Leverage an extensive base of 2,000+ Telco customers, many of whom are ideal candidates for IT and Cyber Managed Services.

* Converting even a small proportion of this base will transform the scale of the IT division.

1. Net New Logo Growth

* Lead the acquisition of new SME customers (10-250 employees), positioning the company as a trusted partner for IT support, connectivity, and cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow the IT Managed Services offering.

* Identify and convert opportunities within the existing customer base.

* Drive new business acquisition in the SME market.

* Lead customer conversations with founders, owners, and senior decision-makers.

* Build strong pipeline momentum with shorter-cycle, high-impact deals.

* Act as a senior commercial figure within the IT sales function, supporting the development of junior team members.

* Collaborate with internal delivery and technical teams to ensure successful onboarding and retention.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both commercial edge and IT credibility.

Essential Experience:

* Proven track record in IT Managed Services / MSP sales.

* Strong understanding of core IT and cyber security services.

* Experience selling into the SME growth market (rather than long enterprise cycles).

* Confident operating in a fast-paced, relationship-led environment.

Desirable:

* Experience cross-selling into an existing customer base.

* Exposure to telecoms, connectivity, or unified comms environments.

* Leadership potential to grow into a wider commercial role.
