Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

We are looking for a Plumbing Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Plumbing Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

As the Plumbing Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Plumbing Engineer, will be responsible for:

* Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems including boilers, pumps, valves, pipework, and related plant equipment.

* Install, repair, and service mechanical and plumbing components according to technical specifications and drawings.

* Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and reference materials.

* Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable operation of systems.

* Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

* Maintain clear and accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and installations.

* Assist in planning and executing scheduled maintenance activities.

* Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively with clients to ensure high service standards.

* Support commissioning and testing of mechanical and plumbing systems on-site.

* Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota, responding to emergency tasks as required.

To be successful for this Plumbing Engineer role you must have:

* Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related discipline (or equivalent).

* Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing maintenance, particularly in commercial or industrial environments.

* Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.

* Familiarity with diagnostic and testing tools used in the trade.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Good communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration and client interaction.

* A full UK driving licence is preferred.

* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
