About the Role

A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Ealing is seeking a Key Stage 1 teaching assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025.

This is a part-time, term-time role ideal for an experienced TA or a confident graduate with school experience. The position focuses on delivering targeted booster sessions and intervention support for pupils in KS1, including those with special educational needs (SEN). You'll work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to help pupils make measurable academic and personal progress.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions for KS1 pupils
• Support children with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Assist in planning and adapting learning activities
• Monitor and track progress in collaboration with the teacher/SENCo
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Ideal Candidate
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 pupils, particularly in interventions or SEN support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and encouraging
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed
• Relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is advantageous but not essential
