Early Years Teacher - Chatham

Fixed-Term Contract (with view to permanent) | Full-Time | April Start

A welcoming and supportive primary setting in Chatham is seeking a committed Early Years Teacher to join their team on a fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.

About the Role

Support high-quality provision within Nursery or Reception, helping to create a stimulating, safe and inclusive setting where children can thrive.
Supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
Assisting with observations and monitoring pupil progress
Promoting children's social, emotional and communication development
Helping to maintain a positive and well-organised learning environment
Building strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) or equivalent
Has experience working within an EYFS setting
Holds GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or recognised equivalents
Demonstrates a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
Is patient, proactive and committed to supporting young learnersA genuine enthusiasm for Early Years education and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
