Hyperion Partners is proud to be working in partnership with a respected Housing Association in the Midlands to recruit a Planned Maintenance Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a property professional passionate about delivering safe, well-maintained homes and driving investment in social housing stock.

The Role

As a Planned Maintenance Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the effective delivery of planned investment and major works programmes. This includes stock condition surveys, project scoping, contractor liaison, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and residents to deliver excellent service and value for money.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee delivery of cyclical and planned maintenance programmes.

* Conduct detailed stock condition and asset surveys.

* Specify, procure and manage building contracts ensuring quality and cost control.

* Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

* Ensure compliance with relevant housing and building regulations.

* Collaborate with residents and colleagues to minimise disruption and ensure satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

* Proven experience in planned maintenance within a housing association or social housing context.

* A relevant qualification (e.g. HNC/HND or degree in Building Surveying or Construction).

* Strong knowledge of housing asset management, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to manage projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision
